    Hello, I have a login and logout /profile/account section in my footer. This part of the footer needs to not be cached because after a user logs in, it changes. However, with Total Cache it keeps showing the old cached page showing that the user is logged out, even though they are logged in. Does anyone know if I can programmatically somehow set the header, or certain parts of the page to not be cached?

    Thanks.

  • You can use fragment caching. This requires you to edit your template files.
    In the FAQ there are these examples:
    Example 1:
    <!– mfunc any PHP code –><!– /mfunc –>
    Example 2:
    <!– mfunc –>any PHP code<!– /mfunc –>
    Example 3:
    <!–MFUNC –>
    echo rand();
    <!–/mfunc –>
    Example 4:
    <!– mclude path/to/file.php –><!– /mclude –>
    Example 5:
    <!– mclude –>path/to/file.php<!– /mclude –>
