• Hi,

I love this plugin, I have had no real issues with functionality or bugs. My question is:

I want to be able to create an event using the regular posting method, not using the “Add Event” section to create a post. Is there a way to make a regular post show up on the calendar? Either through using a specific category or custom field? How do posts hook into the calendar?

This would save me a ton of time, any help is appreciated.

    Thanks.

Right now there is not a way to create an event from a post. I am doing a complete rewrite of the plugin. That is a pretty good idea. I will look into this.

    Awesome, thank you!

I enjoy this idea 2! It would be realy fine to create events with posts.

The older “The Event Calendar” 1.65 did/does that, and I love it, but they have moved to “custom posts types” in TEC 2.x. Which I don’t like.

If Event Calendar provided that ability (treating events as posts) I would appreciate it…
