Plugin for Simple Sidebar Lists

I would like to be able to add a simple list to my blog’s sidebar that contains items like “Games I’m Currently Playing” or “Albums I’m Currently Listening To”. Is there a plugin available that allows me to easily add a list like this? I know I could add a link category and then add a link for each one, but I would ideally like to be able to edit a text file (or something of that nature) to change the data.

Any ideas?
