• I’m using the members plugin on my wordpress multisite web site. When someone registers for the main site (default site), I can see it is set to make the person have a specific role (subscriber). But, people who register are not being assigned to any role. I have to manually add them to that role.

Is there someway to make sure people who register are being assigned to the role I want them to have (this works exactly this way if you don’t have a multisite version of WP).
    Thanks

Thanks. I can’t see from their plugin description if you can add more roles and explicitly limit actions (like read private forum) to certain roles (like you can with the members plugin). Do you know if the Multisite plugin works this way?

No, but it allows you to assign the roles that exist to people, per blog, when they create the account.

    Use it WITH Members ??
