• I want to set up a site where anyone can log in and tell a story. I have “random acts of kindness” cards that I have been passing along but I want to connect the cards to a site where people can log in and tell how the card was used for them.

Does anyone know of a plugin or hack or theme that can allow visitors to login and submit a story or comment with out requiring them to create any kind of an account. In other words, I want them to be able to visit the site and quickly be able to tell how the card helped them so others can see. I think an account may create a barrier that will inhibit people to share.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

PS… If this post should be else where, please let me know. I considered hacks and plugins but I wanted to see if there was a general idea on how this could be done.

  • xerode, please find below a link to a possible plugin you could use, however please do try to resolve issues your self by searching on google before posting, we love to help but it is great if people can solve their own problems by a simple search…

    Hi Tom!

    Thanks for your quick response!

Indeed, I did do a lot of searching, which I normally do when curious about a plugin/widget/theme. However, I found I was unable to figure out what to search for exactly – what terms/keywords to use. I did all types of searches like “User Submission Plugin”, “Visitor self publishing”, “Commenting Widget”, etc, etc.

This looks like it very well may do the trick! Thanks again for your help.

No problems, how about marking the topic as resolved, thanks for your time!
