• i am using the w3 total cache plugin along with hungryfeed and i keep running into this error. now this error is different from the standard cache directory which i ran into and fixed but this directory already exist and i chmod to 777 with no success any help would be greatly appreciated.

An error occured while processing the feed: mkdir() [function.mkdir]: SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid is 10001 is not allowed to access /var/www/vhosts/topspeednetworks.com/httpdocs/wp-content/w3tc/objectcache/f owned by uid 33

I gave w3 total cache a try on my machine and there doesn’t seem to be any conflicts.

I’m not sure what exactly w3tc is doing but HungryFEED only writes to the /wp-content/cache folder (even if w3tc is installed) it doesn’t write to any other folders.

what i might try is just delete everything in the objectcache folder and let w3tc re-create all of the folders that it wants. it shouldn’t hurt anything to clear the cache.

you can also go into the settings for w3tc and disable the object cache to see if that is the problem.
