  • You should be able to use your ftp editor to inspect the edcal.php file, line 52. Yes? No?

can’t access via dashboard. I take it I’ll have to access via the server?

Here’s the link to the website: https://ocm-arts.org/

another update. It started when I updated two plug-ins. one was the calendar feature, and the other was a black box slide show thing (can’t remember the exact name).

Yes, with an ftp editor. I use this one. It’s free.

You may have to call your host site to get help connecting if you’ve never used an ftp editor. But if your host is WordPress.com, that’s another matter. I don’t use it, so don’t know what kind of support they offer.

“It started when I updated two plug-ins. one was the calendar feature”

That makes sense as the error meesage is about “plugins/editorial-calendar/edcal.php on line 52”

You might want to delete the newer version of the calendar plugin and upload the older version just to get the page back up. Then work on solving the problem.

Ok, I’m hoping I can figure it out. Being that I was pretty stupid to update those plugins when I don’t have much access to the site. I’m really hoping I can resolve this. One thing, when I get to the line of code, is there any specific action I’m supposed to do?

I would move the edcal.php file to your computer and then delete it from the server. Then your site should be restored, but the calendar won’t be there. But atleast then you can upload the older version of the calendar plugin.
