I cant embedd videos anymore

  • Hey Everybody,

    I am using wordpress since a month and everything works well. Since a couple of days i can`t embedd videos anymore. I used to copy the code in the post and everything was fine. Now the article is only showing the code. Even the videos I already embedded won’t work anymore in new posts, so the problem is definity not with the videos.

    The only thing I changed was that I installed a soundcloud plugin. Could this be the problem. I deactivated the soundcloud plugin, but videos still won`t show up.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    Esmi, not sure how to contact you. Received an email saying there were duplicate posts. I was not sure which forum to post in, so sorry for that. Still hoping for some answers from anyone that is aware of the issue:)

    Julie, I had similar problems a few weeks back and changed my plug-in to the Hana Flv Player. This seems to work fine.

    Thank you guys, i will try this.
    I just saw, that my dashboard says “RSS Error: WP HTTP Error: connect() timed out!”,
    could this be connected?
