• Hello.

I’m trying to buid a interactive fiction site. It not will be multiuser.

Every post of the site finish with one ore more links to the next sections in the historiy (usually two).

I’m doing it with the shortcode provided by the plugin “Post-to-Post Links II” but I want do it more “naturally”, with a custom taxomony of any short or using custom fields in the child post with the id (or permalink, or something) to link a post as the child of another one.

I want this for comfort at writing time (don’t go back to the father post to make a link to the new clild post).

    Some help please?

    Kind regards.

Anyone? Maybe I didn’t provide enough information?

Not sure what you’re asking, but I’m also looking to provide interactive fiction on my website. For my first attempt, I’m just going to do a simple Choose-Your-Own-Adventure kind of thing, no parsing involved whatsoever.

Check out https://pr-if.org/play/ for an example of a WordPress-powered site hosting real fully interactive fiction. I’ve e-mailed the webmaster about the technology deployed, but haven’t gotten a response yet….

Ha, just got a reply from KJM at PRIF! They use something called “Parchment” (website is https://code.google.com/p/parchment/), which seems WordPress-independent. Looks great!!
