Email notifications just sent at second post save.

  • When I save a post (not the first time but the second one) with people selected to receive email notifications (normal user), they didn’t receive notification. I must save the post a second time with another status and people will receive notification. Why? As an administrator, I don’t have this problem and I receive email notifications for all changes.

    Sorry, I’m not entirely sure I understand your question.

    Currently, email notifications are only generated when a post changes status or an editorial comment is left. Furthermore, you have to save a post once before you can choose who should receive followup notifications.

    Is it not working this way for you? Which way would you expect it to work?
