Why isn't there a plugin that's the same as the one here on WP

  • for uploading, categorizing and allowing user’s to rate the file?

    I see there are a LOT of people asking for close to the same thing, but nothing available which is weird because it is almost the same thing alreay happening in WordPress.

    Upload, sort, user’s rate on various features.

    Pretty standard stuff I would assume.

  • So let me see if I understand you right. You are looking for a “file sharing” plugin? I did a quick search in the plugin directory and found something similar called GrapeFile but after reading through the FAQ I’m not sure it is what you are looking for.

    Maybe I will add that to my list of plugins to develop in the future. It’s a very interesting idea.

    Yep, a file sharing program that would allow the user to identify themselves, their files name and type, and date of submission.

    Users would then rate the photo, file, and tech support.

    Pretty much the same thing WP already does here with Plugins.

    Just weird that such a plugin or even standard feature with WP isn’t already out there for this.
