• What is the best plugin to integrate the mediawiki login with the wordpress login?

    This?

I got this doubt because I did not find the plugin directory www.remarpro.com. Has anyone used? Work? Or show me another, more recent?

Note: I’ve been using WordPress MultiSite with the plugin for bbPress and BuddyPress (including using the same installation of bbPress forum for groups). And it works very well.
But I do not use any plugin to “simulate” a wiki, I want to use the original MediaWiki: https://www.mediawiki.org/

    Thanks.

  • I’ve been looking at this as well. I found this: https://insites.ingenesis.net/2008/08/17/wordpress-bbpress-mediawiki/

It seems to work with a single wordpress install. I haven’t tried it with a multi-site.

I’m still looking for something a bit more seamless — this uses the same users, but you still have to log in to each piece. Maybe there is something that would share a cookie so it would act like a true single login.

My solution (first link) is working just fine for me – there are no more recent changes to it because it does everything I need and just works. No guarantees beyond that, ymmv, but if you try it and have problems I’ll do my best to help out.

(It’s not in the WordPress plugins directory because it isn’t a WordPress plugin, it’s a MediaWiki extension)
