    Hello all,
    Thanx sofar for the wordpress, i updated my b2 blog which i installed last week.
    Now i have a slight problem cause the posts all are surrounded by the < p > tag.
    I have an actionscript highlighter which uses the pre tag and that is NOT done when validating for xhtml.
    So i searched and seached but nowwhere can i find the creation of the start p and end p with each postcontent.
    Sombody idea’s ?

  • do you mean in the WordPress template?

    No i mean somewhere where the post is actualy outputted, not in the template.

    It’s probably coming from the autop function. Send a link to the messed up code and I’ll try to fix it for the next release.

    Yeah allright i will search for that. For now i ask meself isn’t it an idea to make $the_content() like the comments() sow if you want every post surrounded by ‘p’ tags you can $the_content(“”,””);
    Just a thought ?? for now i go search the autop function.
    Thanx for the little direction tip ??

    Well found the line that bugs me ??
    in the function wpautop the fourth line. That takes care of adding a p to each post.
    Normaly maybe a good thing but i did not like that and had problems with the actionscript highlighter.
    So now i commented out line 4 of the function wpautop and i’m up and running.
    take a look for the highlighter (so you now what i mean by saying ;))
    site is at swapdepths.nl (language is dutch ?? but just see the last post.
