You moved your WP installation from different domain or what?

No, newly installed WP.

My site was running without WP.

Clear your .htaccess file in the root directory.

do I also deleat in the:

12barblues.ca/public_html/wordpress

or only in the:

12barblues.ca/public_html

When I call up my website, this is what I get

https://12barblues.ca/12BarBlues.ca/Home.html

I clear the file but when I reload the root dir, it’s still there???

Well, what .htaccess did you cleared? The one that can be found at https://12barblues.ca/.htaccess?

and

https://12barblues.ca/public_html/index.html keeps loading the old site

to what?

it doesn’t matter, as long as it’s not index.html. the only file with a name of index should be the index.php file from WordPress
