[Theme: Allure Real Estate Theme for Placester] DO NOT INSTALL…WILL CRASH YOUR SITE

Hello,
you can only do one thing – delete or rename all directory which called allure-real-estate-theme-for-placester. I know this is no solution, but after this you can allow to connect with your dashboard. I added function placester_option_setter() in options.php, but it didn’t resolve problem temporarily.

Sorry for the trouble and thanks for bringing this to our attention to help us remedy the problem!

Unfortunately we cannot instantly push an update to the theme at the same speed we can do it for plugins, so in the interim, please find a working version of the theme here by clicking the “Download Theme” link.

We encourage you to install and activate the Real Estate Pro plugin prior to taking the following steps.

To apply the update, please do the following:

1. Either via your hosting control panels file browser or via FTP, delete the wp-content/themes/allure-real-estate-theme-for-placester/ folder.
   Your web site should then become operational and you should be able to once again login to your WordPress admin panel.
2. Once logged in to WP Admin, click the “Appearance” menu item in the left sidebar menu, then click on the “Install Themes” tab at the top of the page, and finally click on the “Upload” link below the tabs.
3. Now that you’re ready to upload the updated theme, click the “choose file” button and locate the theme .zip file you downloaded in the first step.
   Click the “Install Now” button once done.

   When the process finishes you will automatically be taken to the “Manage Themes” tab.

4. Now you should be able to find the Allure theme listed amongst the available themes and clicking “activate” should allow you to get started with the Theme without further issue.

Not only did “Placester” fox the issue I had (which only 1% on users have), but they were more than willing to go above and beyond the call of duty and reach out for further assistance and questions!!!!

If I were in the Real Estate market I would proudly use their themes and definitely use their services.

Installed the plugin, and the theme from the site.
Got the plugin working, but only can post 3 houses ( have 10 need to put up on my site ).

images wont upload ( Says they do, but dont show )

also updated to new “update” of the plugin and it crashed site. tried updating theme, never worked ( had to wipe entire site and start over ). Running Previous version not latest.

Terribly sorry to hear your having issues. There are no restrictions to the number of listings you can create – are you seeing any error messages either when creating listings or uploading pictures? If so could you provide screenshots?

Was this version 0.3.2 of the plugin? If possible could you provide a sample of your php error log? We haven’t see any other users experiencing errors and want to get to the bottom of the issue.

Hello! I have been trying for days just to get the plugin to install. I keep getting the 500 (Internal Server) Error, and ‘We’ve happened upon a little problem’ messages! Ive tried uploading via FTP. Uploading via my pc. And im still getting the same error. The plugin will just not upload or instal. Is this because ive upgraded WP to 3.2.1?? Any suggestions? I read somewhere there might me a fix to apply to the php.ini file?

Hi there. I have manged to install the plugin and get the theme to work. However, are we restricted to use only USA and Canada for listings? My business is in Bali! Thanks

Thanks for reaching out. Sorry you’re having issues and glad you got them resolved. In case someone else has a similar problem, how did you get it resolved?

Regarding listings in Bali, we’re happy to add support. Could you provide a few sample addresses with the various components labels (such as city, street, province, etc..)

How do I remove the Placester Logo now that I have uninstalled/deactivated your template in WordPress? I have tryed everything.

We can definitely help you out but would need some more context about what you are referring to. I assume by logo you mean the Placester menu option in the top left of the menu. This will appear as long as you have the plugin installed.

If you uninstall the plugin, then this menu will go away. Definitely reach out to us directly at [email protected] if you have any other questions.
