Using the Plugin and Webmaster Tools for submissions?

  • Is it okay to have “Notify Google about updates of your Blog” in the plugin enabled along with having the sitemap being uploaded into the Google Webmaster Tools for crawling?

    By having the sitemap being generated and submitted on both sites, does that affect or delay anything? Should I only have it doing it on one site or the other?
