How do I get rid of the (Very Annoying) jump to anchor that the plugin puts at the top of all reviews?

Are you having an issue with the anchor?

Yes the plugin appends #wpcr_respond_1 to the page URL whenver the page is loaded. I have added the anchor near the top of the WP page template as a workaround but this is not optimum. I would like to just get rid of the anchor altogether. I looked throughthe plugin code but I cant determine which entry for wpcr_respond_1 is the one in question as it is used extensively throught the code.

Can you tell me which code entry is driving this Append to URL or how to remove it?

I’m having the same issue and its pretty useless unless it can be fixed.

I hope it can be fixed because it seems like a great plugin.

It (SHOULD) only jump to the anchor -after- you have left a review. It will jump to the location of the form on the page, so that you can see the “thank you” message. Is it jumping to that spot every single time you load the page. Try loading the URL without the #wpcr_respond_1 on it, and then look to see if it automatically appends it once the page is loaded.

Either way, it should be fixed in the next update so that it does not jump at all.

That would make sense. However the #tag is always appended automatically even if you delete it and then refresh the page, even if you just come to the site without posting a review.

Fixed in 2.3.7 , along with a multitude of other fixes and internal changes. Please try it out and let me know if this version is working for you. I’ve removed the jump to form altogether for now, but it should be able to be added back in if requested.
