• It only saves my image and not the text. the text is visible in visual editor and shows up in html editor too. This is very perplexing as I keep saving it and it only shows my image. It’s just a one paragraph of text and an image. It keeps my page to two columns not 1 like i selected, and does not hide my title either like i selected. It works on all my other sites, and all other pages on this site.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins (yes, all) to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s). Don’t forget the ones in mu-plugins. If you can’t get into your admin dashboard, try resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    Thanks kmessinger,

I use exactly the same theme with the same plugins on all my 8 sites, so this was perplexing. It had an upgrade which messed things up even more. So I moved to twenty eleven, and then back to the older version of mystique and that fixed it for me.

    Have a great week!
