[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Thumbnails not created if using certain plugins

  • I have been building a website that uses NextGen Gallery. Everything works fine until I activate certain other plugins. Specifically, Twitter Tools and BackupWordpress.

    If either of those are active on the site, the thumbnails are no longer created. The progress bar shows up and appears to be doing something, but it never finishes / closes. All the thumbnails appear as broken image links.

    Deactivating these plugins will set NextGEN back to normal.

    Let me know if you need any more information. I would like to use all three of these as the are all very popular plugins.

  • I’m having the similar problem. I did de-activate all plugins and only reactivated Next-Gen. But in my case, I continued to have the same problem!

    I checked my memory limits 526M <- Definitely not the problem
    Verified my db wasn’t corrupted.

    I’m not sure where to go from here. Any advise greatly appreciated.

    i am having the same problem as trimark! this is urgent its on a school website and we can’t get the gallery updated? please help what can be the problem?

    i am running all updated versions of the plugin and wordpress as well
