[Plugin: Contact Form 7 to Database Extension] Can I add table fields, or WP hooks?

  • I’m using CF7toDB
    I also have another table that has almost the same data, but extra fields such as if the row was APPROVED, who’s responding, etc…

    Right now, I’ve added in a small hack to your plugin that whenever a form is saved, it also saves the data to my own table. I keep having to update the hack everytime your plugin updates (which is quite often – but that’s a good thing).

    I’m trying to fix this.

    Can I add these extra fields to your table, so my Admin function will still work everytime your plugin is updated?
    Or, is there an easier way for me to add in hooks to your plugin, so I don’t have to hack your plugin file (CF7DBPlugin.php)?

    If you buy the edit extension then you add columns to your data that are not in the form and edit values to capture status, workflow, etc. Then you don’t need to code anything.
