I am new at WP and would love to use this plugin to make a custom login screen. I can’t figure out how to use your plugin. Where are the templates and how do I create the sign up page? Is in the dashboard or how do I access the template maker? Also, when I create the login page, how do I direct it to be the main url for login and logout? I have members only site.
    Thanks!!!

The templates will be within the plugin’s folder in wp-content/plugins.

There is only one file in the template folder and it is psd file that has the company logo. Please explain how to use this plugin. Do I open the psd file in Adobe?
    Thanks,

Do I open the psd file in Adobe

No. Open it in a graphics app such as Photoshop or GIMP.

I opened it in photoshop and it is just a blue file with another logo. How is that a template? Also, how does this get saved to a permalink for the website?

It’s beyond the scope of this forum to try and teach you how to use Photoshop.

I know how to use photoshop. I just don’t understand how to use this template file. What do you do in photoshop? How do you add the login?

Upload `the entire contents of the zip file to your plugin directory ‘/wp-content/plugins/’
Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
Create a new login background using the handy template provided. Save it as ‘login-bkg-tile.jpg’
Upload the new login background image to the /wp-content/plugins/bm-suctom-login/images/
Bask in the glory of your beautiful new login screen

Sorry to be so thick, and I appreciate that you are trying to help me. I understand about the logistics of how to use the plugin, but I don’t understand the part about the handy template….
Please explain the name of the template file that I open in Photoshop. I believe it is the binary moon picture. Is that the file I edit in photoshop myself? I just don’t understand what you mean by handy template …..
Please clarify that part, and I should be able to use the plugin.
    Thanks.

Just open that file in photoshop and edit away. Save as jpg or gif and upload to a folder on your server. Enter the img location into the Background Image Url field and check out your new login page. I just used it to create a custom login for a client. Took about 5 min. I painted over the Binary Moon layer and threw the logo up at the top. You may have to play with it a few times to get it positioned properly so that it doesn’t cover the text fields. Set your bg color, font color and hyperlink color and you are good to go.

Hope that helps. I was lost as well for a few minutes until I found the PSD file (I had just installed the plugin via the WP dashboard and hadn’t unzipped and looked at the folder contents) but once I found it it was smooth sailing.
