• Hi There! Question? I have a WordPress website that a graphic designer did for our company last year. The theme, the logo, the back ground is all custom. Our company is changing direction and we need to change the theme. Now, we don’t need to change the actual content or how it is arranged on the pages, we just need to change the back ground color and header( we have a new logo, new color scheme etc..) The problem, I haven’t a clue how to do this unless I select a WordPress template and then my concern there is, do I lose alllllll the content on the pages etc.. once I activate a new template? My pref would be to create a custom header, a new background etc.., but I do not know any coding whatsoever.
    Please help!

  • You would need to start editing/amending your current theme but the exact steps to do all of this would really be beyond the scope of this forum. How comfortable are you at using HTML, CSS & PHP? If the answer is “terrified”, then you may want to consider employing someone to carry out the work for you.

Hi esmi..thanks so much for the reply. That’s exactly what I was thinking I would need to do. I know a little HTML to get me by in a pinch, but have no experience with CSS or PHP.
