I really want to use Coraline for this my very first wordpress site, but I have a crucial menu-related problem..

I need a secondary menu (containing pages not important enough for main menu, and not fitting in the sub-page structure), and created a custom menu which I put in a sidebar widget area.

The problem is that these pages also show up in the main navigation
(see my site at https://sundaarbetsplatser.se/ . I accidentally found out a way to prevent that: saving them as drafts instead of publishing them.
I have no idea why this works, and it does not feel like a very reliable solution- first it worked, then it didn′t, now it works again… Is there a better way?

I’m a complete wp-newbie with no previous knowledge of php- please bear that in mind if you try to help me out :-)!

    Many, many thanks
