After the upgrade to WordPress 3.2.1 the plugin WP to Twitter not work.
When I reactived it these are the errors:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting ',' or ';' in /home/mhd-01/www.digirroici.com/htdocs/digi/wp-content/plugins/wp-to-twitter/wp-to-twitter.php(83) : runtime-created function on line 1

Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, no array or string given in /home/mhd-01/www.digirroici.com/htdocs/digi/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 405

Any ideas for fix it? Thanks a lot.

Are you using WordPress in a language other than English?

    Hi Joe.
I use the plugin in a Italian website.

Thank you – that’s what I was hoping you’d say. Yours is the second report of this I’ve received, both using the Italian translation. I’ll get this figured out; probably requires a change in the translation file.

Argh! Italian, this is the problem! I tried to remove the Italian translation and the plugin seems work!
Have you any idea about the cause of this error?

Thank you very much for your support.

I believe it’s because of the apostrophe in “l’installazione”; but this should be fixed in my next bug fix release.

If I was right, then version 2.3.5 should resolve this. Let me know.

    Hi Joe,
Maybe the problem was solved for the Italian language…. but the previous version was was workin ok for the Dutch installation of WP. After update to 2.3.5 i get the same error as Cyberangel ??

Problem also appears with German translation installations.

No I think that my problem isn’t the language ??

I just tested the new version 2.3.5 and it seems to work properly!
    Thank you for the help!

Yep, I discovered that fixing the problem for Italian was a cascade failure for all other languages. Not a good solution, so 2.3.6 solved it differently.

FYI, Dirk — you tagged your new thread with the wrong plug-in, so I wasn’t notified about it. Just thought I’d mention it, since you’d gone to the otherwise helpful trouble of creating a new thread for the problem…

Ups, yes you are right! Thanks for fixing so quickly.
