Best now theme Blocked my site plz help

  • I am using BestNow theme in my site and its been over a year I have been using this theme. In the footer it shows some links to other sites and in the footer.php it says that we need to intact those links on this theme. I was experimenting with that and remove those links now I am not able to edit anything on admin. Even i am not able to open any of the link in my admin. Site is also not working and shown the message

    “All links in the footer should remain intact. These links are all family friendly and will not hurt your site in any way. This great theme is brought to you for free by these supporters.”

    I was thinking to change the theme but I am not able to do anything. I have lots of content on this site and lot of comments which I dont want to loose…Plz help to sort this issue.

  • Try switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    Thanks for your reply…u mean i shall rename the twentyeleven theme to my current theme or vice versa..plz clear

    No – rename the current theme’s folder to anything you want.

    If you rename your current theme, WordPress cant find it and resets to default theme.
