• In our sitemap, there are many urls that are not from our domain. We see all the pages, posts, categories, etc. from our domain (www.ourdomain.com), and there are many others from an external domain (www.externaldomain.com) within our generated sitemap.

We are using a plugin called FeedWordPress. I believe this is the cause of the external URLs. What is odd is that the FeedWordPress plugin is putting these feeds as posts but they are all in draft mode. I don’t see the draft posts, just the source URL.

Here is a link to the sitemap: Sitemap with external URLs

Any ideas on how to exclude these if the base domain does not match the domain of the WordPress site?

    Thanks in advance.

I just updated the plugin to the latest version and regenerated the sitemap and the external URLs disappeared. I can only guess that something was fixed in the latest plugin update/WP version compatibility OR there was a hiccup when the last sitemap was generated.
