sidebar issue

This plugin’s documentation says it supports the ‘depth’ parameter which you can use to limit the list to parents:

that plugin is great and does exactly what I want EXCEPT how do I remove the existing sidebar? All that happens is now I get two menus– the original and the new one i like.

That depends on your theme. If you are using a free theme, post a link to its download site here so the code can be examined and someone may be able to help.

If you are using a paid theme, contact the theme supplier.

i am using a paid theme from templatic…unfortunately, I have contacted thier support threads numerous times without any response. Any suggestions?

As this is a commercial theme, we cannot access it’s code and therefore, cannot really help. Keep trying on their support forum. After all – this is part of what you paid for.
