• We are converting a few web sites to WordPress (WP). We are encountering the following issue:
How do we create multiple themes for one website? i.e., we have created 2 separate themes for 2 pages of one site. We would like to build a feature where we can accomodate multiple themes in 1 website.

    Thanks………

    Mani

  • In WP there is a good thing – a template for the page.
create a template as much as you want, and then simply point to a post / page which template to use.
This seems to be available in new versions of WP.

    Thanks for that update.
When I try to point/post a template to multiple pages, how do we accommodate the menus in each of the templates? Should I recreate the same menu structure in each of the pages? I am currently using WP(3.2.1)

Should I recreate the same menu structure in each of the pages? – if you want that menu will be different, than offcourse ??

this is a nice option in the new version of wordpress.

I have a mystery though. for theme one, for example, I have one side column on theme 2 I have 2 side columns. If i set my home page to theme 1 and the default is 2 column for the rest of the site. on my home page it has NO columns…
