images and uploads

  • Hi all,

    2 questions related to images.

    I’m making photoshop tutorials, so i have step1.jpg, step2.jpg ect for each tutorial.
    Now i want the ‘Store uploads in this folder’ to store it in month/day/post/. So it would to be like this:
    uploads/2011/07/tutorial1/step1.jpg
    uploads/2011/07/tutorial2/step1.jpg

    is there a trick for this?

    Also, WP is filling my server full of images from 1 image.
    A step.jpg images is just 500px x 500px. I dont want it to be thumbnailed or be medium of large, just 500×500. My server is filled with a kind of sizes.. But i want some images be thumbnailed, but not all..

    Can someone help me with this? Thanks!
