[Plugin: JSON API] contributing to JSON api / login
-
Again*, I’m loving the plugin, very easy to work with.
I’m using it on a micro-site that uploads user submissions which include multiple attachments ( photo gallery ) and some custom fields. Trying not to hack the plugin, I copied your posts controller and post model, renamed them, and changed create_post to instantiate the altered version of post model which I added the needed functionality to.
Anyways, I was wondering how best to submit my code. I read some threads where you mentioned attaching patches to a trac tickets, but that was several months ago, and I noticed a copy of the plugin has been added to github in the meantime:
https://github.com/tjhanley/WordPress-JSON-APIAlso, in some of the old threads people mentioned adding support for logging users in. Did that ever happen? If not, it’s another area I’d be interested in contributing to. I’m planning on using this plugin for my next couple of projects, and I’d love to pay forward some of my gratitude.
Thanks again for the awesome plugin,
… michael*I double posted this question in the thread “[Plugin: JSON API] Authentication or custom query variable?” I’m a bit of a wordpress newb and hadn’t read the forum guidelines yet – sorry about that.
