Ok, when i make a post to WP, at the end of the text, when there’s a dot, like “.” … then there is an empty space, like in beetween words and then appears the word “e”, cannot figure out what this is ?!

So, if the post was like this (the sentence below):

Welcome, this is my very first post. e

Note the word “e” at the end?

That’s it, i don’t know where to look to get to the problem,
    any help is very appreciated.

    Thnx again,

    NB

    CORRECTION!!!

I was wrong, the “e” word appears athe end of each TITLE i write for the post, each post.

So the “e” word appears at the end of the TITLE of the post, not in the text. Sorry…

    Thnx, NB

How about a link to your site so we can look? Is the “e” a link in itself? If so, I think it might be the “edit this post” option, depends on what template you’re using….

Check your index.php in your template directory. Very likely the title text has a spurious e at the end.

is that the symbol for “edit?”

what happens when you click on it?

do you still see it when you are logged out?

Thanks everyone for a light speed help, i appreciate it, btw i’ve read that others using Shaded Gray theme are having these problems, now i know that that the “e” word only shows when i’m logged in WP so i think i got this ok now.

    Thanks again,

    NB

I just downloaded the Shaded Gray theme, to check it out. That ‘e’ is not random. It is a link to an edit screen where you can edit the post. You can try clicking on it and see what I mean. It will only show up if you are logged in and it is your post

So, if you wanted to get rid of it…Open post.php in your theme folder and search for (its on the very end of line 2):

    <?php edit_post_link('e'); ?>

You can change that ‘e’ to whatever you want edit to say…or you could move the link to somewhere else, or you could just delete it. Remember, only you can see it
