  • Maybe this results of the thumbnails not being created automatically after uploading pics?

I still suffer of this occurence with NGG 1.8.1 after WP upgrade to 3.2

Did you check if there are any thumbnails existing?

You may try to create them manually at the gallery management page .. sometimes this works (for me).

I did create them manually but still cannot view them. I checked and there are no thumbs in the folder.
These photos are big over 3000 by over 2000. What is the ideal usable size for photos using NextGen?
Do you know of any good documentation that explains the best settings for maximum ease of use.
Any help is much appreciated as I’m wasting a lot of time fiddling around.
    Thanks

    I found a resolution at https://www.visser.com.au/blog/thumbnail-generation-php-memory-limit-nextgen-gallery/

My memory was so low I could not even see the full error message.
I increased memory limit to 1024M and can create and see my thumbnails just fine.

BTW I did a google search on my problem and found the solution after scanning www.remarpro.com for ages.

Also found a good tutorial at https://dpotter.net/technical/2008/03/nextgen-gallery-review-image-management/
