2 topics, one site – how to organize

Hi,

I hope I’m posting in the right area. Here’s the deal. I currently have one domain with a single installation of wordpress using Thesis. I’ve decided that my site is too unfocused.

Right now, everything gets posted to the main page at baldmalerolemodel. I want to break my site into 2 parts: Bald Male and Role Model. My first thought was to create two wordpress pages, and then pull applicable posts to those pages.

Would this work? Or, should I create 2 separate subdomains with separate wordpress installs?

Either way, I need to figure out how to get the correct posts to the correct page or subdomain. Are there any decent plugins to help – I saw exec.php and sobek’s posts, but I also want to show teasers.

Ultimately, I would like to incorporate a common forum; photo galleries may be common or separate. That depends on if I actually get people to submit photos!

Sorry for the long post. My real goal is to narrow the focus of each part. I think this will result in better crafted and better targeted posts.
