    Hi,

The calendar was working fine but now it doesn’t appear in the user section. I am using the code [calendar] on the page and I can see all options in the admin area. When a viewer views the website they can only see the top event categories but not the calendar.

    Please help

    Thanks

Please provide a url so I can see if you’re experiencing a javascript conflict.

    Thanks,

Even when I deactive the plugin it still shows (show types).

The javascript necessary to run the calendar is not loading. It could be a theme/plugin conflict, but I’m not seeing any errors in the console.

I’m currently working on a patch which I hope to release within a day, but I honestly can’t say if it will resolve this issue, since I can’t see how the problem is being caused.

It might be a php issue. If you find something in your server logs I’ll try to help.

Ok, if I uninstall and delete the plugin and reinstall will it keep my data in the datbase?

    No it will not.
The FAQ describes this in detail.

Ok I will wait for the patch, it was working and then all of a sudden it stopped, the only things that were updated was WP to 3.2 and other various plugins.

Are there any permissions I should look at?

The patch may not resolve the issue if the problem may be caused by the another plugin.

I would disable all other plugins and check to see if the calendar functions properly. If it does, then add one plugin at a time until it stops working. You’ll then know at least one cause of the conflict.

It’s VERY strange that deactivating the plugin did not disable the shortcode, which is why I’m leaning toward the conflict scenario.

If you can see the backend calendar and the calendar options, then permissions are not likely the problem.

Ok, I am deactivating all other plugins and see if it helps

This did not help. I deactivated all except the calendar

Then the problem is possibly the scripts from your theme, since I see a number of javascript files still being loaded on the page.

Also check your wordpress and server logs to see if you’re getting any backend errors.

I just installed the ajax calendar on my personal wp blogs that are 3.2 and everything works but the calendar does not display on the page.

My blog is also running on 3.2 and has the calendar installed – and as you can see the calendar does display. I am using the WordPress 2011 theme without incident. What theme are you running and does it employ javascript?
