Creating A Email Form Widget

Hello, I am in the middle of creating an email widget for one of my clients but I am having the hardest time figuring out the answers to the following question:

Question 1:
Will ‘$this->get_field_name()’ & ‘$this->get_field_id()’ functions work within the ‘widget’ function to differentiate form and field names & IDs?

Question 2:
If I allow the ‘To’ email to be set from within the widget, how would I go about accessing that data without outputting it within the ‘widget’ function?
