    Hello,

I’m trying to set up a site that functions like Tumblr and I’d like to use the Twentyeleven theme as a starting point.

Here’s my question: with the advent of custom post types, Twentyeleven’s support of all of those types, and our ability to customize each of those types, is it better to stick with post types, or should I use a plugin like Woo Tumblog to do the same thing?

I like the Woo Tumblog plugin, but I don’t like the way it might be confusing for users to see both the WT and post type buttons. I guess I could disable the post types…

The Twenty Eleven theme has different files for each of the types, which also adds a new wrinkle, I think, with respect to setting up WT plugin, which requires you to add their code to “loop.php, archive.php and single.php (which don’t exist anymore in Twentyeleven).

Hope this isn’t confusing, and maybe there isn’t a simple answer.

    Thanks.

    Jim
