[Plugin: SimpleMap] Register Locations via my own Custom Post Types

Hi, I am building a site that uses custom post types to display different types of entities, Dance Schools, Social Clubs, Events etc.
I would like to use SimpleMap to allow site visitors to find entities in their area.

Is there a way to create locations in the simple map database that relate to the custom posts? And can I create the simple map database entry from the custom post page somehow?

I would like to see the simplemap meta boxes on my custom post types edit pages. Thanks.
