Automatic Plugin Version Updated

  • When I updated my plugin to the SVN server’s trunk folder the version was automatically made into the current version. I thought the trunk was the development side for testing and the tags was the final version push to be live.

    Does the trunk automatically make a new version for people to download?

    I do have a second question. What purpose does the tags serve? Does it just keep a log of old revisions?
