WPBook Comments Not Importing from Facebook

  • I’ve searched through the forum and read quite a few different threads regarding this issue, but nothing fit exactly my experience. My published blogs are posting to my wall on FB. The comments made to those posts, however, are not being imported back to my site.

    I’m using WPBook 2.2.3 (so I don’t have the infinite sessions key issue)

    I’m getting a debugging file, and it’s saying:

    And etc… But where it’s saying the “Number of comments for this post – 0” that’s incorrect for some of it, as there are comments to import.

    My check permissions page says everything is granted.

    I installed and activated Core Control, ran wpbook_cron_job, and got a note that there was an error, but no other information (the first time I ran it, however, there was no error).

    My site is hosted on Bluehost…

    Any help would be greatly appreciated; my friends are pretty much mostly commenting from FB, and I’d really like them on my site.

    Okay… Not sure what happened, but somewhere in the last bit of things I did, the comments are now showing up.

    I’ll leave this post up just in case the information is helpful to anyone else (I did list all the things I tried, so it might work for someone else).

    HOWEVER, I am still having a minor problem of the FB default image of the commenter not importing, so if there’s a fix for that, I’d love to hear it.

    I don’t know what of all that I tried that worked, but thank you to the developer(s) for being so active in this forum!

    I have the same problem with comments.

    Hmmm, my comments also aren’t showing up. I’m not sure how to do the debugging thing that you two did. Did you figure out what the solution was?
