Author Level 1 – Edit Bug – post_status set to null

  • I’m running a game community blog at https://www.thegamechair.com. Currently the other authors working with me are set to author level 1 permissions. When they go to edit their published posts, the post_status field is supposed to swich to draft, however it switches to null taking it off the live site and making it not visible in the admin.

    I’ve had to go into the database to change the post_status field manually to rectify. Is this a known issue. Not sure where to report a bug, so if this is the wrong place let me know.

  • Did you found a solution. I’m having exactly the same problem.

    I just found the solution for this problem.
    the plugin “WordPress Email Notification Plugin v2.3.1” screwed everything. i turned it off and everything worked fine again.
