Custom Registration & Login

  • I want to be able to fully customise the registration and login process. I’m also interested in having a login form (username and password fields) on the site itself.

    Any guidance would be much appreciated. Thank you.

  • Any login widget should work. The login page can be customized just like single sites.

    The registration page, you can use a page template. There’s a few hooks in wp-signup to add extras as well. buddypress, for example, uses hook sot completely replace the signup process.

    I am using Sidebar Login plugin and works great if that is what you looking for.

    Thanks, so my best option is to use a widget/plugin, rather than coding it myself?

    unless you want to reinvent the wheel. ?? just start searching in the plugin repo.
