    First time I tried to use the backup program today. I use a commercially supported theme call Cold Stone. I thought you’d want to know what errors came up.

    Your backup program gave these error messages:

    Backup warning on 2011-07-01 at 12:03:28: Could not upload ‘/home/truthi7/public_html/WordPress/wp-content/themes/ColdStone/img/Thumbs.db’ due to the following error: Error while uploading /home/truthi7/public_html/WordPress/wp-content/themes/ColdStone/img/Thumbs.db to Dropbox. HTTP Status: 400, Body: {“error”: “The file Thumbs.db is on the ignored file list, so it was not saved”}
    Backup warning on 2011-07-01 at 12:00:08: Could not upload ‘/home/truthi7/public_html/WordPress/wp-content/themes/ColdStone/epanel/images/empty.png’ due to the following error: Error while uploading /home/truthi7/public_html/WordPress/wp-content/themes/ColdStone/epanel/images/empty.png to Dropbox. HTTP Status: 500, Body: {“error”: “Internal Server Error”}

    Thanks for the feedback.

    I will add thumbs.db to the ignored file list. The internal server error is a Dropbox issue and is probably a one off.

    I have patched trunk so please re-download the plugin and the Thumbs.db issue should be fixed.

    Cheers,
    Mikey

    Michael, I have a similar problem with desktop.ini

    Backup warning on 2011-07-12 at 11:09:50: Could not upload ‘/home/content/82/7393882/html/wp-content/plugins/wp-e-commerce/wpsc-includes/fpdf/font/desktop.ini’ due to the following error: Error while uploading /home/content/82/7393882/html/wp-content/plugins/wp-e-commerce/wpsc-includes/fpdf/font/desktop.ini to Dropbox. HTTP Status: 400, Body: {“error”: “The file desktop.ini is on the ignored file list, so it was not saved”}

    I’m don’t know why it was included in the ecommerce folder.

    I assume such warnings don’t imply an incorrect or incomplete backup, would that be true?

    Regards Ric.

    PS this plugin is working well after the first backup took over 24 hrs to complete and 120mb downloads to all 4 of my computers attached to my dropbox. Subsequent backups are much better with backing up only changes. Well done
