    Hi all,
I’ve managed to get from around 44 errors to 6: one of the last ones fixed being the ‘role’ attribute of the search form [found the answer in this forum – thanks].
Apart from the ‘tabindex’ error [which I can fix] the other errors in the sidebar li [list items] puzzle me as it seems that every item within the sidebar is within an li [list item].
On a hunch [desperation?] I tried the suggestion [in another post] and changed the wrapping for each sidebar item from li to ul [in functions.php] but that generated 6 more errors ?? !
Being a relative newcomer to WordPress, I’m not sure how to get my hands on, for example, the first li that starts the sidebar and is an error. Any ideas?
    Thanks
    steve

The ‘tabindex ‘ is sorted but …
Bringing the ‘bad’ sidebar code into Dreamweaver and looking at each error li [list items] they seem to be okay: each error li starts a ‘widget’ in the sidebar and there’s a closing li for each one.
Maybe I’m being dense but I don’t see what’s wrong. Any ideas?
