I've built a 5-page local site and now it won't open

I built an entire 5-page site so far in wordpress 3.3.3 and have it on my computer ( mac os x 10.5.8). Then my mySQL server stopped working and I changed the port number to 3306 and it’s up and running again. The problem is that now I cannot access any pages and every entry I make in my browser results in a 404 Error that says that the url was not found on this server. I know the file exists because I see it in my htdocs folder in MAMP. I’m a graphic designer trying to learn wordpress and not a coder by any means, so if you can tell me how to correct this problem in extremely simple language, it would be most appreciated.
