Editing tools missing

  • I recently installed wordpress using the 123-reg app solution for the first time but have noticed that all the rich text editing tools for the posts and pages have not come up, the html tags have however.

    Any suggestions?!

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    have tried all these now and it is still not showing up, it’s never happened before and i have used this theme hundreds of times…
