New server and problems :(

  • Hi guys hope someone can help… I recently bought a new server fra Zenex 5ive and its running smoothly, I can make easy installations of wordpress and anything are running perfect, except, when I try uploading a image gallery on a complete fresh installation with no plugins or anything, it does not create thumbnails from the large images, it works but the frontpage show the images rescaled and this off course makes no sense to pull more bandwidth…

    Is something missing on the server? I asked them for the GD module but it was already installed, is there any kind of other stuff for images that need to be installed on the server, hope someone hvad the answer, Im pretty stuck here..

    Maybe I should add that its a dedicated server running linux CentOS with Cpanel with fantastico!

    I have tried searching in her to what requirements wordpress makes to a server but I cant really find anything about this!

    I assume you have checked the settings in your dashboard?

    Settings > media > crop
