Going from Local host to Online server.

So to my question which might be easy for people that aren’t as novice as me so bare with me.

I have a site thats currently online and configured with wordpress etc.

But I recently learned how to install a local server (or whatever its called Im using xampp that I do know)

Now I did this ofc so I could start working on a new version of the site without messing with the old one. Now I have found this theme (reviewit) and installed the theme on the local version of wordress (which happends to be swedish (im swedish) instead of the english version which I ran the online one on, Im saying this because I have to idea if it would make any difference.

So to my question, What would I need to do upload the offline version of the site into my Online version and ofc replacing it. Im also starting All over with new posts etc.

So this is what I think Im supposed to do:

(from the ofline site)
1: Export the XML file using wordpress built in exporter.
2:Export Theme Settings from the review it setting.

3: This is what I dont know dow do to. I have uploaded wuite a few images locally onto that server. And Im guessing they are in the folders C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content\upload

4:copy plugins (currently onlu using the gd star rating) but Im guessing copy that folder also.

Onto the Online version:

1: Do the Reset plugin, So everything thats on it goes wawy (will take a normal backup before this of the cuirrent online site I want a fresh start)

2: Put the upload folder in wp content folder

3: Install ReviewIt theme

4: Upload the ReviewIt theme backup file throuh reviewit’s own import setting.

Done?

I might be missing something big but thats why Im asking.

And hopefully you guys can understand my english.

So Im guessing I should copy folder.

And I installed SEO ultimate and started to made Tags Etc.
And will all of these be the same if I do as above and copy the entire plugin folder of the plugin and put in the plugin folder at the online version? Or should I first download and install it and then Replace it with these files?

Just looked at the link when you aad thumbnails to the videos. And that link is “local” bla bla. So I assume Im going to have to re-upload the tumbnails? And because of that Im saving the rest I will do before trying to bring it online.
