Views and clicks for my own ads

  • Hello, and thanks for a great plugin!

    We sell our own ads, and of course we need to track the stats for these. I use advertising manager and I use the HTML feature to link to the ad images or Flash files.

    But how do I find the stat info on the ads? Is this feature already somewhere in the existing Advertising Manager plugin? I can find the number of views for each ad in the overview, but I can′t see anything about clicks.

    Any help appreciated. Perhaps there is some other plugin out there that might solve the problem?

  • In case you need the stats and can wade thru the database, all of the plugins’ data and the stats are being stored in option_value of the wp_options table, in the row where option_name = plugin_advman. I went in there, and found the stats data structure, that stores # of views per day per ad.

    Thanks djchuang! I′m not used to working directly towards the database. Either way, the Advertiser Manager plugin seems to be discontinued, so I switsched to AdRotate, which also has some neet stats.
