Password protected pages stuck on wp-pass.php

  • The ability to password protect a page on my site has suddenly stopped working.

    When a password is entered on a page, it redirects to a “Page not found” with the wp-pass.php extension in the URL.

    I tried making a page from scratch to test and its still not working.

    Something changed — could it be server related?
