Made page, maybe wrong for what I want.

I’ve got my site basically up and running. I’m using Pages & Menu’s to display my different sections on the site. Problem I’ve come across is that I’ve got one “page” that I’ve called Blog, but I’m thinking that was not the correct way to do this. I can’t figure out how to add new posts to this section without editing the original post, but that kind of kills the idea of using dates for the different posts. I’ve turned off “Allow Comments”, as I only want it open for me to add to is, but not others commenting. I’ve obviously either not got something set up correctly, or I should be handling this “blog” section differently. Options?
